Except for the kitty getting out, that is totally scary and I sympathize with you. Gabby is an indoor only cat (I think they're more likely to contract different illnesses and diseases outside), and she got out of our apartment door once and luckily didn't make it out of the building, but I was SO upset because I would've felt so bad if she got lost or hurt.
