  5. Happy Blogoversary Daisy! Your blog has been awesome for the past two years, and I hope it continues to be just as awesome for a long time.

The best books I've read recently were Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf and The Other City by Michal Ajvaz. The Other City is a surrealist book that explores borders, the concept of the other, writing and storytelling, and home. The writing is beautiful, luminous, and very strange. I highly recommend it for a time when you're looking for something a little different.

Congrats again on your Blogoversary. <3

  9. Congrats on your 2-year blogoversary, Daisy!! *tosses virtual confetti* It's exciting, eh? Mine is coming up soon too! It's been so awesome getting to know you through blogging over the past couple years. Here's to plenty more! :D

As for the last book I gave 5 stars...that would be Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma. But I so very, very rarely give 5 stars, so that book was reviewed just under a year ago, LOL. The last book I gave 4.5 stars to (more recently!) was Not That Kind of Girl by Siobhan Vivian :)

  13. I don't review books much (so far I have two book reviews on my pages since my blog is really about all kinds of things), but I sometimes rate books I really like on goodreads. The last one I read that I gave five stars (but not necessarily the last one I rated five stars) was The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. I'm currently re-reading another: Exodus by Leon Uris.
